What does Desiderata mean?
I named my collective after one of my favourite prose poems, Desiderata (1927) by Max Ehrmann. The title is Latin for "desired things" and/or "something desired as essential" etc.
My favourite line has to be "With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world." To learn more, visit Wikipedia.
The designs
The current layout was published on December 2nd, 2008 and it features a very fine British actor, Paul Bettany. For the best viewing experience, you need a screen resolution of 1024×768 (at least). The previous layout was up for over two years and it featured my very favourite actor and person I admire the most, Johnny Depp. The first layout featured the hilarious talk show host Conan O'Brien.

What are fanlistings anyway?
A fanlisting is simply an online listing of fans of a subject, such as an actor or a movie, that is created by an individual and open for everyone to join. The only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name, email and country. To show you're a fan, you can put a small link button or a text link on your website (if you have one).
