Kate is the only actress I truly adore. She's such a luminous, dedicated and fearless actress who time after time showcases her incredible range by taking challenging roles and pushing conventional boundaries. Her characters are often intelligent, sensual and emotionally engaging. She can be mischievously intelligent or very subtle yet riveting… and anything and everything in between.
I love her performances in such films as Revolutionary Road, Romance & Cigarettes, Finding Neverland, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Life of David Gale, Iris, Quills, Titanic, Sense and Sensibility and Heavenly Creatures.
What is more, I admire Kate for her refusal to conform to the typical Hollywood standard of what is considered "beautiful". I also appreciate her unfiltered sense of humour and refreshing sincerity. She seems to be an inviting, unpretentious person who doesn't trouble herself about fame too much but finds her happiness in the "normal" everyday life.
