You can't help but burst with the sheer joy of experiencing this spectacular movie. It has the kind of offbeat, delightful energy that makes your eyes dazzle in fascination and your heart fill with happiness.
Henry Selick, Tim Burton and others have blessed us with a world we could have never invisioned ourselves: the story and fantastic characters comig convincingly to life capture your imagination for good. The main character, Jack Skellington, is especially dear to me: he's such a beautiful, dramatic, emotional, sad but still gleeful creature.
Danny Elfman creates an other-wordly musical landscape of haunting melodies, lively imagery and brilliant wordplay, which accentuate Burton's unique story and characters. To me, it really can't get any better than this. The film is a phenomenal masterpiece of pure art.
